Last evening, April 28, 2006. I celebrated the beginning of a two-part celebration with the traditional Doctoral Hooding Ceremony. After the ceremony, what else but pictures. Below with me is Donna, my wife, who helped me through this process yet again. She stands over my shoulder as I write, correcting my spelllllling as ususal. This is my second doctor’s degree.

Well I have taken a little over a month off from blogging here. After I finished my second Doctor of Ministry degree, I decided to relax and do some other things. One of the things that I have done over the last month is read other than Biblical or Theological works. I turned my attention to fiction and have read seven John Grisham books and am reading an eighth one. Having grown up in the South, I find in some of his books, the description of Southern living a wonderful trip back into my own past. Some memories are wonderful things!

This weekend is the final part of my doctoral process with two ceremonies at George Fox Evangelical Seminary and George Fox University in Portland and Newberg, OR. If will be fun to see the folks that I spent so much time talking with over the last two plus years.
